Welcome to the
Seattle Easy Riders Web site.

We are a kinder, gentler bicycle club for anyone who wants to pedal; meet fun, nonjudgmental people; and search for lattes. We are all sizes and abilities and participate for numerous reasons.

We are returning cyclists, newbies, "people of age," folks recovering from
illness or injury, and those who have to hop up and down to fit into our favorite blue jeans.

I have been told that this site has been acting funky lately. In fact, our home page suddenly went AWOL, and this is its quickie replacement. Apologies to all.

Coming up (also check calendar)

June 20 Magnuson to Fremont Solstice Parade and Fair--2 Choices

Two departure options:

Depart Magnuson Park playground at 10:30 am at Leisurely pace.

Depart Magnuson Park playground at 10:00 am at Easy pace.

.

Ride the B-G trail to watch the annual Fremont Solstice Parade and avoid the parking problem. Total distance about 11 miles at a leisurely pace of 10-12 mph.

Bring a lock for your bike, snacks, and be prepared to find and stand in a good vantage point until the parade begins at 12:00 noon. You can remain for other activities of this two-day street fair. For further information, visit the web site

http://www.fremontfair.org/fremont-solstice-parade

Good viewing sites are usually at a premium so be prepared to stake out some territory and hold it. If you have one of them new-fangled chair-canes or a foldable camp stools, bring it.

Leader will hold your clothing if you spontaneously decide to join the parade.
